This may involve proposing alternative methods of fabrication, programme options, installation methodology or design changes that deliver a better project for all parties. This approach will aid to eliminate surprises through the life of the programme, minimising variations in both cost and timescales.
Installation
DBS Fabrication offers site measure and installation both locally and nationally for all projects and products used and manufactured from our workshop. In addition to this we offer a professional and reliable decommissioning service.
All engineers are fully skilled and competent to carry out site installations. The contracts carried out are supplied with Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
Installation vehicles carry full plant and equipment (i.e. steps, extension ladders, portable aluminium scaffold, lifting equipment and all required mechanical and hand operated tools) all of which are certified according to the relevant HSE regulations. Installations can vary from small scale ventilation / dust extraction systems, to a major turn-key installation under CDM regulations.
Steel fabrication
Our new facility in the North East, will enable us to cope with bigger work loads and projects.
We are highly experienced in the manufacture of complex steel fabrication, having being established for over 25 years.
Our continuity in the Fabrication field is based on a long and successful standing amongst a competent and experienced workforce covering all major trades and engineering positions.
Fully trained, coded welders, sheet metal fabricators work to a high standard at a grade of EN 9606-1.

Quick turnarounds
We offer a flexible turnaround and breakdown service for companies who have large mechanical equipment which requires refurbishment or maintenance on the fabrication side at very short lead times.
This on demand service is well suited to plants with large mechanical components where continuous processing or strictly defined shutdowns are critical to their efficient operation.
Professional service
We carry out repairs and maintenance on buildings, fencing, industrial working systems, gates etc. We can carry out upgrades on machinery guarding, conveyor roller systems, restoration of listed iron works and all improvement needs. We work on shutdowns – working 24/7 ensuring the loss of production is kept to a minimum.
